今天我们来读《照顾我》。
Look at the cover. What can you see?
看看封面上，都有什么呢？
I can see Chip, Biff, Wilma and a little girl.
我看到了Chip，Biff，Wilma和一个小女孩。
How old do you think the little girl is?
你觉得这个小女孩多大了？
I think she is probably three or four years old, and she needs to be taken care of.
我觉得她大概三四岁吧，她还需要别人照顾。
Do you think Wilma will enjoy looking after Kate?
你觉得Wilma喜欢照顾她吗？
I’m not sure about that. I guess we will find out.
我不是太确定，我们去看看吧。
“This is Kate.” said Wilma.
Wilma说：“这是Kate。”
She is introducing Kate to Biff and Chip.
她正向Biff和Chip介绍Kate。
They are going to play together at the playground.
他们要一起在游乐场玩。
Wow! There is a very big elephant, a slide, and a net in the playground.
哇！游乐场里有个很大的大象，一个滑梯，还有一张网。
It looks so much fun!
看起来很好玩啊！
Look! Kate went up the net.
看！Kate爬上网了。
She looks really happy.
她看起来很开心。
“I like this,” she said.
她说：“我好喜欢这个！”
What about Biff, Chip and Wilma?
Biff，Chip和Wilma呢？
Are they happy?
他们开心吗？
Not really. They look worried. They are worried about Kate falling down.
好像不开心，他们看起来很担心。担心Kate会摔下来。
After climbing up the net, Kate went on the slide.
爬完了网子后，Kate又爬上了滑梯。
“I like this,” she said.
她说：“我好喜欢这个。”
She is going down the slide.
她正从滑梯上滑下来。
Kate is having a good time.
Kate 玩得很开心。
Be careful! Kate!
当心！Kate！
Biff still looks worried. So does Wilma.
Biff看起来仍然很担心，Wilma也是。
Where are they now?
他们现在在哪里呢？
They are at the space station. Look at all the planets and the stars!
他们在空间站呢。看看这些星球吧！
What is Kate doing now?
Kate在做什么呢？
She is going up the ladder. She wants to go inside the spaceship.
她正往上爬梯子呢。她想要爬到宇宙飞船里面去。
“I like this,” she said.
她说：“我好喜欢这个。”
She is having a lot of fun!
她玩得真开心呀！
What’s Kate doing now?
Kate现在在做什么呢？
Oh, she is asleep in her stroller. She must be very tired.
哦，她在婴儿车里睡着啦。她一定累坏了。
“We like this,” said Biff.
Biff说：“我们喜欢这样。”
Why do you think they like this?
他们为什么喜欢这样呢？
They like it because they can finally have a rest!
因为他们终于可以休息啦！
They don’t have to worry about Kate any more.
他们不用再担心Kate啦。
每个宝宝的年龄不一样，基础不一样，不需要完全按照以上文本来讲。如果孩子感兴趣，就多说一点，不感兴趣就少说一点，都没问题。只要孩子理解，或看图能明白，或家长可以用肢体语言或者指物的方式让孩子明白，就不要翻译。如果实在不能理解，可以适当解释，但不需要字对字翻译。
